The Mill of Hampstead is seeking a General Manager. The General Manager is responsible for the operation of The Mill of Hampstead. Responsibilities include developing and supervising the operating segments of the business including retail, agronomy service and logistics in accordance with The Mill of Bel Air’s company mission and vision. A background in agriculture is necessary. Retail and management experience is desired for this position. Salary is dependent on experience. The Mill is a family-owned company that provides quality products, service and technical expertise to communities and farmers in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. The Mill of Bel Air is in search of a part-time employee who can handle a fast-paced environment serving the Bel Air community. He or she must be able to work evening hours and weekends, have retail experience, open availability and be able to lift 50lbs. Call 410-838-6111 and ask for Raun.

Jocelyn Clayton

Administration

Jocelyn began working for The Mill in November of 1996. Over the years, she rose from retail clerk to controller of the company. Many would credit her commitment, accuracy, ability to analyze any situation and her passion for The Mill as components to her success. Jocelyn served as a key member in the management team and was often sought out by her co-workers for advice. It is easy to see why she has been referred to as one of the most trusted and respected” team members.

Karen Holloway

Livestock Specialist

With fair season in full swing, Karen Holloway has been weighing pigs for customers at least three times a week (including weekends). Although her schedule is filled during the entire summer, she always finds a way to make help customers and highlight their achievements. She is constantly taking pictures and forwarding them on for Facebook and our website.

 

Joe Milburn

The Mill of Whiteford

Joe routinely goes above and beyond as Warehouse manager. Not only does he perform as his job requires, he is also willing to jump on the register, run deliveries and transfers, and do anything he is asked around the store without any complaint. Joe spent a lot of time with Epicor and our IT support trying to get Whiteford back online after a lightning strike hit nearby. He has great customer service skills and is well-known and liked by many.

Joe Hushon

Crops Team 

Joe dispatches all sprayers and related liquid nurse trucks. This is a huge job as the crops team spreads more than 30,000 acres each year. His ability to work with different technology tools helps the company and customers remain organized. Every year Joe is one of the main coordinators for the Crop Showcase. Like Tim, he is heavily focused on planting, scouting, spraying and arranging. When there is not enough time in the day to get it all done, somehow Joe is able to make more time.

Tim Hushon

Tim has done an excellent job in his role of Agronomy Sales.  He spends time on the road visiting farmers and sharing a variety of technology tools with them.  Even with his busy schedule, he is still able to squeeze in extra time to help with the Crop Showcase (planting, scouting, spraying and arranging). With his willingness to reach out to customers and vendors regarding their experiences in the past, Tim serves as a wonderful model for Mill customer service.

 

Beth Innerst

Beth is phenomenal at thinking outside the box. Her creative thoughts shine when she hosts unique community events and intentionally goes out of her way to support local businesses. Beth’s opinion on products (specifically vegetable seeds) is appreciated by many customers and staff members. She is also constantly empowering her employees, whether it be sending them to the Preakness or writing inspirational quotes of encouragement.
